• Floral Granny Square

I am used to connecting squares as I go along, as I think it gives a more professional finish. One of the top tips I can share with you is this:

• Take the hook off your current loop, insert the hook where you want to connect the squares, then grab the loop back onto your hook and continue with your next stitch. I find this method more effective, as it creates a seamless connection between the squares.

• You can also try it the other way around to see the difference. Perhaps in a different situation, this method will work just as well. While the loop is still on your hook, insert the hook into the space of the other square, then grab the yarn and make your next stitch from there.

Either way, both methods will work just fine.
